East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning invites all Fox Cities residents to complete their Connect Fox Cities 2050 survey and interactive map by October 31, 2024. Your input will help inform transportation planning for our greater Fox Cities community.
Connect Fox Cities 2050 is the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) for the Appleton & the Fox Cities. As the major planning document for the region, all other plans are encompassed under Connect 2050, as well as added social, environmental, and economic development factors. Beyond ECWRPC’s federal responsibility to create this plan, Connect 2050 is an important update to the methods used to select, prioritize, and fund transportation improvement projects. Methods and modeling are driven by data, helping anticipate changes and challenges, improve safety, develop proper implementation strategies, and concisely address all aspects of the transportation system to create a better community for residents and visitors.
