Next spring, there will be a statewide election for a new Wisconsin Supreme Court justice. The decisions that this court makes affect every citizen of our state, so it is important for all voters to be fully informed about how the Wisconsin court system functions.
The Leagues of Appleton Fox-Cities and Winnebago County have teamed up to present a two-part program detailing the seriousness of the issue.
The second in this two-part series will take place Monday, December 5 from 6:30-8:00 p.m., and will be held in-person only at the Winnebago County Coughlin Center, 625 E. County Road Y in Oshkosh. The program will be recorded for future viewing on both Leagues' websites. Registration is not required.
Former Judge and attorney Joseph Troy will provide his perspective on what influences undermine Wisconsin Courts, such as campaign finance and recusal rules.
