The Democracy Farm

Our League often refers to our commitment to “Empower Voters and Defend Democracy” as the two silos of our founding principles. When political candidates falsely discredit the League’s nonpartisan status, we need to defend our truthful, historic foundation. Continuing the “silos” theme to clarify the League’s position, Co-Presidents Linda Bjella and Marti Hemwall collaborated on an article they’ve titled “The Democracy Farm” to set the record straight.
