Wisconsin voters will see a constitutional amendment on the November 3, 2026 ballot that could have significant impacts on public education, employment, contracting, and government programs across the state.

Join LWV of Wisconsin and a panel of guest speakers to learn more about the anti-equity constitutional amendment which will appear on the ballot in November.

While the ballot language references discrimination and preferential treatment, the proposed amendment would also limit the use of certain equity-focused policies and programs. Before you vote, take time to understand what's on your ballot and how this amendment could affect Wisconsin communities.

• Kadijha Marquardt-Davis, Strategic Health Policy Leader

Kadijha is a health policy strategist, civic leader, and consultant with more than eight years of experience working at the intersection of public policy, health equity, civic engagement, and institutional change.

She began her career in the Wisconsin State Legislature as a policy advisor focused on health policy and Medicaid, and she has since founded and leads a civic engagement and participatory research program focused on advancing health equity through civic health, community leadership, and public engagement.

Kadijha is also the founder and owner of Petty Justice, LLC, an advocacy strategy and capacity-building practice that helps mission-driven organizations strengthen their ability to influence policy, build civic power, and create institutions that better serve the public.
