Do you enjoy making connections with people? Then the LWV Membership Team is the spot for you. We consistently interact with our members in a myriad of ways.
In November of each year, membership renewal is our biggest priority. Through emails, letters and personal phone calls, we contact members to encourage them to renew by January 31 of each year.
February brings Valentine’s Day. Each year we create a League-themed valentine that is sent to each member. It is a fun contact opportunity and also lets us acknowledge our founding anniversary.
July and August is the time for our Summer Socials. We schedule social gatherings at member’s homes to provide the opportunity for prospective members to learn about the League. It also is a gathering for current members to socialize and catch up with each other.
On a monthly basis at our League programs, the Membership Team greets attendees, gives out name tags and engages with non-members to impart information about the Appleton-Fox Cities League.
New member orientations are held on an as needed basis. When possible, in-person meetings are scheduled; otherwise, virtual Zoom meetings are employed. New members are encouraged to attend so they'll become familiar with all the opportunities the League has to offer. Plus, we want to provide new members with the chance to make a connection with other League members.
